The International Standard University (ISU) Department of Computer Science and Engineering and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) organized the students’ skill development seminar. ISU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Abdul Awal Khan.
In the seminar titled “Projects for ICT Engineers Development for the Promotion of the ICT Industry and New Innovations”, JICA expert (Chief Advisor) Akihiro Soji and ISU Computer Science and Engineering Department Advisor Professor Dr. Mohammad Nurul Huda. Akihiro Soji said, Japan has been working together for a long time in socio-economic and infrastructure development of Bangladesh. Besides working to increase the ICT sector of Bangladesh. The youth should think and plan what Bangladesh will look like in the future.
He also said that by working in Japan for a long time, he should use it for Bangladesh. Mentioning such events to encourage the youth, he advised them to invest time and develop themselves constantly.
Vice-Chancellor said, Japan is a role model of development for us by using human resources. The people of Japan should use the experience of performance and efficiency to make themselves efficient. He urged JICA representatives to develop the youth of Bangladesh as human resources by developing their skills in the same way that Japan developed itself after the Second World War.
Under the chairmanship of Syed Mostafizur Rahman Chowdhury, chairperson of Computer Science and Engineering Department and under the overall supervision of IT Club of ISU, teachers and students of the department were present.
