Younger brother killed by elder brother in Khorushkul of Cox’s Bazar

Younger brother Belal Hossain (40) was killed in the Kop of elder brother Mostak Ahmad during an argument regarding land in Khurushkul, Cox’s Bazar. After the death of their father, the two brothers had a dispute over the property left by their father. Yesterday, Thursday, two brothers quarreled. On hearing the news, I reached the spot and found Belal lying on the ground in a state of blood. The injured Belal was immediately taken to Cox’s Bazar Sadar Hospital where the doctor on duty declared him brought dead. His body has been kept at Cox’s Bazar Sadar Hospital morgue for post-mortem. Rafiqul Islam, OC of Cox’s Bazar Sadar Police Station, said that according to the preliminary information, we have come to know that the younger brother was killed by his elder brother due to a dispute over ancestral property. We are continuing the operation to catch the accused elder brother.
