Workshop on Future Bangladesh through Youth’s Thoughts at Laksam

A workshop titled “Future Bangladesh with the Youth in Mind” was held in Laksam, Comilla. The workshop was organized by Laksam Municipality on Tuesday (January 21) at the conference hall. The workshop was chaired by Municipal Administrator and Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) Kausar Hamid, and was attended by Laksam Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Nazneen Sultana, Municipal Engineer Zakir Hossain, Chief Accounting Officer Akhter Hossain, political figure Abdullah Al Mahmud Khasru, Laksam Press Club convener Monir Ahmed, former acting president Syed Mujibur Rahman Dulal, journalist Shahidul Islam Shahin, Municipal Primary School Headmaster Abzal Hossain, representatives of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement Qayyum Rifat and Sajjad Saymon, and various professional leaders.
The speakers said that the talent and wisdom of the youth should be utilized to build a Bangladesh with potential for the future. In particular, the youth should be vocal against bad culture in addition to eradicating drugs and preventing misuse of technology. They expressed their hope that a Bangladesh without discrimination in the future will be built with the collective efforts of everyone.
