Touhid Hossain Sarkar : Bangladesh Workers’ Welfare Federation Central Advisor and Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Central Assistant Secretary General Maulana Abdul Halim said, “Regardless of race, religion, and caste, everyone should have united to build a Bangladesh of national justice. Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami is working towards that goal. If Jamaat-e-Islami forms a government, Islamic labor policy will be implemented. Workers will get back their just rights. Therefore, the struggle for Islamic labor policy must be strengthened to create a new trend in the labor movement.”
He made this statement while addressing the biennial conference of the Bangladesh Workers’ Welfare Federation in Comilla yesterday as the chief guest.
At 8:30 am on Friday, at the Comilla District Shilpakala Academy, under the chairmanship of Comilla Metropolitan Workers’ Welfare Federation President Kazi Nazir Ahmed and moderated by Comilla Southern District Workers’ Welfare Federation President Khairul Islam, special guests included Jamaat-e-Islami Central Working Committee Member and Comilla Metropolitan Ameer Kazi Deen Mohammad, Bangladesh Workers’ Welfare Federation Central Secretary General Mu. Atiqur Rahman, Jamaat-e-Islami Comilla North District Ameer Abdul Matin, South District Secretary Dr. Syed Sarwar Uddin Siddiqui, Workers’ Welfare Federation Central Assistant General Secretary Abdus Salam, labor leader Mozammel Haque Bhuiyan, Comilla Metropolitan Jamaat Secretary Mu.
