Weapons recovered in Rajbari city’s demilitarised operation

Abandoned weapons and ammunition have been recovered in the operation of the Bangladesh Army’s Rajbari Camp. The Rajbari Army Camp confirmed the matter through a press release.

The press release said that on Saturday (April 5), a patrol team of the Bangladesh Army’s Rajbari Army Camp conducted a search operation in the Sajjankanda (Sujon Para) graveyard area of Rajbari Sadar Upazila at 4 am based on a secret tip-off. During the search, 1 revolver and 4 rounds of ammunition were recovered. 2 ramdas, 3 sharp knives and 1 Chinese axe were recovered abandoned from a nearby locked house. The recovered weapons and ammunition have been handed over to the Rajbari Sadar Police Station for further legal action.

The Rajbari Army Camp confirmed the truth of the matter, saying that the army’s successful operation has brought relief to the local people.
