Nationalist Party Central Executive Committee Forest and Environment Affairs Joint Secretary and Pirojpur District BNP Conference Preparation Committee convener Kazi Rawnakul Islam Tipu said that people have been waiting for an election for a long time. We have waited for 17 years for the right to vote. Even after we bid farewell to the dictatorship, we are not getting a fair and beautiful election. If you make excuses for delaying the election, we want to say that we, along with the Nationalist Party, are ready to vote, are interested in voting, and want to form a fair government and run the country through elections. We will never let the foreign conspiracy regarding the election cause chaos in this country again with the huge money of the Awami League government.

He also said that we are working all over Bangladesh to implement the 31-point plan of national hero Tarique Rahman. In continuation of this, we have started working from ward to ward for the conference in Pirojpur. We have already started the form distribution program from ward. There should be extensive participation of women’s party in this program, you have a lot of responsibilities. Those who want to form a women’s party and those who want to form BNP should fill the form. You will get 33 percent share of BNP through your participation. The expectations of our leader, our mother Begum Khaleda Zia and our leader Mr. Tarique Rahman.

He made these remarks while speaking as the chief guest at a prayer and iftar mahfil organized by the District Women’s Party at the District Shilpakala Academy auditorium on Saturday afternoon, wishing Begum Khaleda Zia good health and recovery and Tarique Rahman long life.

Pirojpur District BNP Convener Principal Alamgir Hossain, Central Executive Committee Member Eliza Zaman, District BNP Joint Convener Sheikh Riaz Uddin Rana, Abdus Salam were present as special guests at the event.

The workers’ meeting was presided over by District Women’s Party President Sahida Begum and moderated by District Women’s Party Member Secretary Advocate Rahima Akter Hasi.
