Returning to Bagerhat after a long 18 years, former MP of Bagerhat Sadar constituency, freedom fighter MAH Selim, has announced that he will work with everyone for the development of the area. Former president of the district BNP, prominent industrialist and chairman of the Silver Line Group, MAH Selim, reached Bagerhat on Monday afternoon and, in his speech as the chief guest at the reception ceremony at Belayet Hossain Degree College established in the name of his father, said, after a long eighteen years, I have been able to come to my own area, Bagerhat.
You know how much work I have done for the development of Bagerhat. The development works of Bagerhat taken up during the BNP tenure had come to a standstill. Now I want to take the unfinished works of Bagerhat with you. He also announced that no looter, extortionist, terrorist will find a place next to me. Thousands of people were present at the reception venue at that time. The reception, presided over by Belayet Hossain Degree College Principal Md.
