To stand by the helpless and distressed during the holy month of Ramadan, the Nirbhar Foundation, established with the slogan “We will build a society, we will build a country, Bangladesh of humanity”, has started distributing Iftar items.
This social welfare initiative is a part of the organization’s ongoing humanitarian service activities every year.
Today, Saturday (14th Ramadan), the volunteers of the organization went from their own office in Char Fashion Upazila to the homes of more than a hundred helpless and distressed people in different upazilas of Bhola and delivered these Iftar items.
Established in January 2024, this organization has been conducting various activities for social welfare, environmental conservation and helping the poorest families. The distribution of Iftar items during the month of Ramadan is a significant annual event for them, which has gained wide appreciation among the locals.
The founder of the organization, Md. Rajib Hasan Riyad, said, “We are grateful to Allah Almighty for being able to stand by the poor people. Our goal is to always be by the side of the underprivileged people in their happiness and sorrow and to bring smiles to their faces.
The general secretary of the organization, Md. Al-Amin, said, “This distribution of iftar items is not our help, but rather a gift from us to the Muslim family. We want this small initiative of ours to bring some relief to their lives.
Nirbhar Foundation’s Chief Advisor, Ad: Monirul Islam Mia, said, “A group of young people have come forward to serve humanity. This is a non-political voluntary organization. Its main goal is to contribute to human welfare and social development by working in the service of humanity. Nirbhar Foundation has already earned a good reputation in social development and human service. We are hopeful that their activities will continue in the future and will be expanded more widely.
The organization’s president, Asad Hossain, said, “Many people have contributed to the implementation of this great initiative – some have provided money, some have provided advice, some have provided labor and time. We are grateful to all of them.
Finance Secretary Hasanul Haque said, “We will try our best to continue such humanitarian activities on a larger scale in the future. We urge everyone in the society to come forward with such an initiative.
The locals highly appreciated this initiative of the Shurbani Foundation and called their work a shining example of social development. Everyone expressed their hope that this humanitarian activity will continue in the future.
The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the volunteers of the organization for bringing smiles to the faces of helpless people.
