Victory Day was celebrated by upazila Awami League with thousands of leaders and workers in Barura. On 16th December at seven o’clock in the morning, on the orders of Barura Awami League President Nachimul Alam Chowdhury Nazrul (MP), all leaders and activists gathered at the party office of Barura Upazila Awami League at Al-Rashid Tower and completed the organizational activities including hoisting the party flag at half past eight in the morning of Barura Upazila Awami League. Nashir Uddin Lincoln, the victory procession started and after circling the important roads of Barura Bazar, all the organs and affiliated organizations including Barura Upazila Awami League went to Barura Central Shaheed Minar and offered floral tributes to Shaheed Vedhi. After placing wreaths, the speakers said, December 16, the Great Victory Day, is the day of the greatest glory of the Bengali nation, Bangladesh became independent at the hands of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and at the hands of his privileged daughter, the president of the party, Hon’ble Prime Minister Jana leader Sheikh Hasina, Bangladesh has become a middle-income country and the country is fast becoming a middle-income country. Bangladesh is becoming developed and smart in time.
