Tylox celebrates Toilet Day

In a prestigious event featuring the country’s most renowned celebrities, the hygienic toilet cleaning brand Tylox launched the ‘Tylox Hygienic Abash’ campaign in observance of World Toilet Day. 

Held at the Westin Hotel in the capital on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, this star-studded event was organized by Tylox Hygienic Toilet Cleaner, a product manufactured with advanced technology at Bangladesh’s largest production facility.

This year’s World Toilet Day theme, “A Place for Peace,” set the stage for the launch of Tylox’s “Tylox Hygienic Abash” campaign. 

Under the slogan “Support the construction of toilets for the underprivileged by purchasing Tylox,” the campaign will donate BDT 10 from each Tylox Toilet Cleaner sold throughout November to build hygienic toilets for communities facing sanitation challenges across the country.

The most notable highlight of this event was the speech by Remark-Herlan’s Director, megastar Shakib Khan. 

He stated, “In addition to producing advanced products, Tylox envisions a beautiful world for future generations. Hence, Tylox Hygienic Toilet Cleaner is manufactured using the latest technology and the highest quality raw materials at the country’s largest toilet cleaner manufacturing plant. We prioritize environmental protection by implementing eco-friendly practices and rigorous sustainability measures throughout our production process.”

Shakib Khan further added, “A toilet free from bad odor means a peaceful experience. Tylox Hygienic Toilet Cleaner not only eliminates bad odor but also provides a long-lasting pleasant fragrance. At Remark-Herlan, we always prioritize the needs and benefits of the general public. This initiative by Tylox is truly commendable. By considering the welfare of the communities in need, we are not only facilitating the construction of hygienic toilets but also raising hygiene awareness among the general public. Our commitment extends beyond product excellence to making a meaningful impact on society.”

Marufur Rahman, Category Head of Home and Personal Care at Remark-Herlan, stated, “Tylox, produced with modern technology at the country’s largest manufacturing facility, has launched the ‘Tylox Hygienic Abash Campaign.’ Our goal is to promote a message of peace and hygiene for all. By participating in this campaign, privileged communities can exemplify solidarity and support for the welfare of the underprivileged. Therefore, this initiative goes beyond being just a campaign; it is a significant social initiative.”

The event celebrating World Toilet Day, organized by Tylox Hygienic Toilet Cleaner, saw the participation of prominent figures such as K.A. Amin, Project Coordinator at WaterAid Bangladesh, Md. Golam Rasul, Research and Knowledge Management Expert, Md. Farhadur Rahman Ripon, Assistant Engineer from the Office of the Chief Engineer (Planning), DPHE, Dhaka, and Subrata Basak, Assistant Engineer from the Groundwater Division, DPHE, Dhaka. 

Senior representatives of Tylox were also present at the event on behalf of Remark-Herlan. 

Additionally, the event saw the participation of celebrities including Tylox’s brand ambassador Siam Ahmed, popular actresses Pori Moni, Bidya Sinha Mim, Puja Chery, Dighi, renowned singer Pritom Hasan, and many other famous personalities from the film and music industries.
