 Two people were killed and 7 injured in a road accident in Tangail’s Kalihati. The incident took place in the Nagbari area of Kalihati on Tuesday afternoon when a truck collided head-on with a CNG. Two passengers of the CNG died. At least 7 people were injured during this time. One of the victims has been identified. His name is Saiful Islam (32). He is the son of Abdur Rashid of Khanur Bari village of Gobindasi union of Bhuapur upazila of Tangail. The injured have been admitted to Tangail General Hospital. Tangail General Hospital Police Box ASI Atiqur Rahman confirmed the matter. According to police and locals, a CNG passenger train from Elenga collided with a trolley coming from the opposite direction as it reached Nagbari area of Kalihati. 5 passengers of CNG were injured. When they were taken to Tangail General Hospital, the doctors declared them dead. Accidental CNG twists and turns. Three other injured have been admitted to hospital. One of them is in critical condition. The police said that the victims will be handed over to their relatives after the legal process
