 Two more Bangladeshi pilgrims have died while performing the holy Hajj in Saudi Arabia.  With this, the number of Bangladeshi pilgrims who died in the country this year stood at 19. All the dead Bangladeshi pilgrims died in the holy Mecca and Medina.
 The deceased Bangladeshi pilgrims are identified as Md. Abul Kashem (46), a resident of Barura police station in Comilla district.  07116116 in his passport, another Md. Shahjahan Ali (66), a resident of Rajpara police station in Rajshahi district.  His passport number is EF 0270203.
So far, 16 Bangladeshi pilgrims have died in Makkah and three in Madinah while performing the holy Hajj. Among them, 16 men and three women pilgrims have died.
As of Thursday 15/06/2023 morning, 82 thousand 335 pilgrims have reached Saudi Arabia from Bangladesh.  Among them, 9 thousand 386 people went to Saudi Arabia under government management and 72 thousand 949 people went to private management.
 It should be noted that the Saudi authorities said that the Holy Hajj will be held on June 27 this year subject to the sighting of the moon.
