Locals have recovered the bodies of two madrasa students who went missing in the sea while bathing at Teknaf beach in Cox’s Bazar. The bodies of two children were recovered from the fresh water point of Teknaf beach at 8 o’clock yesterday morning.
The deceased are the son of Korban Ali of Konkar Para village of Teknaf Sadar Union
Imran Hossain (12) and Md Nazir’s son Nazrul Haque (12). The matter was confirmed by Teknaf Fire Service Station Officer Mukul Kumar. He said that on Sunday afternoon, 3 madrasa students went under the water on the beach of Maheshkhali Naughat next to Teknaf Shishu Park. . Later locals rescued Noor Kamal at that time but he died. In this incident, the Coast Guard diving team conducted an operation in the sea to search for two more people who were missing. Besides, the local people including members of the police and fire service also searched for them at different points. He also said that the local people recovered the bodies of the two children from the fresh water splashing point of Teknaf beach at 8 o’clock on Monday morning.
