In Dumki of Patuakhali, a double theft was organized in a locked building in a novel manner. A group of organized thieves entered the building by breaking the lock of the door of the staircase and broke the cupboard and stole at least 5 lakhs worth of goods including cash and gold ornaments. Yesterday Wednesday (November 21) morning, after receiving the news from the mobile phone, the householder Alauddin Kha came to the village house from his workplace in Narayanganj, opened the gate of his locked one-story building and went inside. A gang of thieves broke into cupboards and wardrobes and took away 20,000 taka in cash, 3 heavy weight gold ornaments and at least 5 lakh taka worth of goods. Dumki police station inspected the spot in the presence of family members and neighbours. In this regard, the householder Alauddin Dumki gave a written statement to the police station filed However, it is not known when the theft was organized. Local UP member Mizanur Rahman Sardar said that Alauddin Kha, who lives in Narayanganj with his family, built the one-storey building in his ancestral village. Every two or three months, Antar was coming and going to the village house. He came home in the first week of last October. The theft could have been organized overnight during this period.
