The inauguration ceremony was broadcast virtually from the Trishal Upazila Parishad hall room. Among the 564 model mosques and Islamic cultural centers under construction in every district and upazila of the country, 50 model mosques and Islamic cultural centers have been inaugurated in the fifth phase.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has auspiciously inaugurated the 50 Model Mosque Islamic Cultural Center attached to Ganobhaban.
Like all over the country on Sunday (July 30) morning in the Trishal Upazila Parishad Hall room, government officials, brave freedom fighters, political figures and people of various professions enjoyed the program virtually.
Alhaj Hafez Maulana Ruhul Amin Madani, President of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Ministry of Religious Affairs and Member of National Parliament, was present as the chief guest in Trishal under the chairmanship of Trishal Upazila Nirbahi Officer Jewel Ahmed.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Mehdi Hasan, Chairman of Trishal Upazila Parishad, former Member of Parliament, former General Secretary of Mymensingh District Awami League Alhaj Abdul Mateen Sarkar, Assistant Commissioner (Lands) Hasan Abdullah Al Mahmud, President of Trishal Upazila Awami League Alhaj Abul Kalam Mohammad were present as special guests. Shamchuddin, General Secretary Iqbal Hossain, Advocate Jalal Uddin Khan, Vice Chairman of Trishal Upazila Parishad Humayun Kabir Akand, Mahmuda Khanam Ruma, Former Joint Convener of Trishal Upazila Awami League Shobha Mia Akand, Senior Leader of Trishal Upazila Awami League Fazle Rabbi, Divisional Director of Islami Foundation Mymensingh. Trishal upazila model mosque has cost 13 million taka.
