Tree plantation program is going on under the initiative of Mymensingh City Corporation (MOSIC). As part of this, Mymensingh City Corporation Chief Executive Officer Md. Yusuf Ali planted trees in the road dividers and other areas adjacent to the premises of Shilpacharya Zainul Udyan on Wednesday afternoon.
At this time, he said that an initiative has been taken to plant trees across the city to ensure green urbanization and to deal with the effects of climate change. In this program, Mymensingh City Corporation plans to plant about 8 thousand trees in 33 wards of the city.
