Not everyone can be a tree lover. This requires a clear, renunciation mentality. Using this mindset, government employee Akhtar Hamid plants various types of trees on holidays to fulfill his hobby. As a result, the people of Dinajpur call Akhtar Hamid a tree lover. Planting various species of trees, fruit-forests, beautifying trees is the biggest hobby in his life. Akhtar Hamid lives in North Balubari area of Dinajpur city.

When I spoke to Akhtar Hamid about this, he said, I work in the government, so I plant trees for the welfare of people on holidays or when I have free time. My parents encouraged me to plant trees from my childhood. During my childhood, I planted palm, kadai, bamboo, plum, bell, mango, jackfruit, lemon and various beautifying plants near the house in the open space on the side of the government road, on the pond. which is still visible and also made house furniture from some of the trees. Where I have cut trees, I have replanted them.

He also said, wherever I have to go for work, I have planted trees. Planting this tree is like my blood. The joy of planting a tree yourself and eating the fruit of that tree is different. Varied is the joy that cannot be expressed in words. to realize.

Even after Mr. Md. Akhtar Hamid came to Dinajpur, he did not forget the task of planting trees. As usual, in various government places of Dinajpur Sadar, such as on the main road of Ramsagar National Park, east of the dumping area of the technical training center, on the banks of the Shishu Park pond, on the banks of the canal running through the middle of the city, he planted various trees including palm trees. He gave fruit and flower seedlings to many. He told that his children planted palm trees in some places. Because in his absence his children will find the memory of their father in that tree. Moreover, the trees planted by Mr. Md. Akhtar Hamid will protect the environment from the adverse effects of climate to some extent. Besides this, it will contribute significantly to the development of human welfare and beauty.

Apart from this, he also gave a beautiful idea of planting trees that is – even if the branches of the plant, pakur are planted on the ground, it will become a tree like 8-10 inches thick and 7-8 feet long, pakur. Bot, pakur tree branches will become trees if they are planted at any corner of the road or in an empty space. Under which people can rest for a while. Besides, animals and birds will build nests and eat fruits. Beauty will increase. In fact, trees are so closely related to our lives. Mr. Akhtar Hamid hope that this inspiration to plant trees becomes the path of our lives. The Environment Minister has also requested three Sabai to plant trees.
