Special Correspondent: Bangladesh Railway has requested people to refrain from traveling on the roof and buffer of a train. This request was made in a message sent by Rezaul Karim Siddiqui, Public Relations Officer of the Ministry of Railways, on Thursday (April 3) afternoon.

It said that traveling on the roof and buffer of a train is risky and punishable by law. It can cause serious accidents and even loss of life. Passengers are requested to refrain from risky traveling on the roof and buffer of a train.

Earlier, on Wednesday (April 2) at around 11 am, two youths died after falling while standing on the roof of a moving train in Akhaura, Brahmanbaria while making a video. The accident occurred in the Mogra Railway Bridge area of ​​the upazila. Two more youths were seriously injured in this.

The Sylhet-bound Paharika Express train leaving Chittagong passed Gangasagar Railway Station in Akhaura at around 11 am. When the train reached the Mogra Railway Bridge area in Akhaura, four young men on the roof of the passenger compartment of the train stood up and started making a video. The three young men were making a video of a person together. At that time, they got entangled in the wire of a dish antenna passing over the railway line and fell from the roof of the train.
