District Commissioner and District Magistrate Nur Qutubul Alam visited Galachipa Upazila of Patuakhali. He arrived at Galachipa at 11 o’clock on Tuesday, July 9, first visited the police station, then visited Galachipa Sadar Union, at this time OC Investigation and Officers in Charge Mokammel welcomed him with flowers and showed respect, later among the 10 people affected by the cyclone in Sadar Union. Distributed money and relief materials, visited upazila land office and planted trees. After visiting Galachipa Government Model Secondary School and distribution of various fruit and forest tree saplings among the students with the help of Galachipa Forest Officer Md. Jahangir Hossain, after visiting each stall of the upazila technology fair, a short discussion was held at Shilpakkala Academy, Officers Club under the chairmanship of Executive Officer Mohiuddin Al Helal. Attended the meeting. Later, he visited Galachipa Municipality where Mayor Ahsanul Haque Tuhin welcomed him with flowers. Later he left for Baufal upazila at three o’clock in the afternoon.

The chief guest visited the development program of Galachipa upazila throughout the day and suggested planting fruit trees and banaji trees in various government office premises as well as planting trees. During his visit to certain offices, he expressed his satisfaction and said to all, “The transparency of all work is manifested in well-ordered work efficiency.” Therefore, a healthy and beautiful society can be created only if the love of family, society and country is unbroken by keeping oneself transparent.
