Bangladesh stock market ended trading on Sunday (June 4) with a mixed trend of indices. On this day, the transaction has increased compared to the previous working day. The main capital market, Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), has seen an increase of over Tk 1,258 crore compared to the previous day. Shares and unit prices of most companies were unchanged in the market. According to the market review, the main index of DSE, DSEX, increased by 10 points from the previous day and stood at 6,366 points. DSE Shariah index increased by 3 points to 1,382 points and DS30 index decreased by 2 points to 2,199 points. A total of 350 shares and units of companies were traded on DSE. Among them, share and unit prices increased in 77 companies, decreased in 100 and remained unchanged in 173. A total of Tk 1,254 crore shares and units were traded in DSE. Shares and units worth Tk 997 crore 83 lakh were traded on the previous day. In the other capital market Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE), the overall index CASPI increased by 32 points and stands at 18 thousand 788 points. Besides, CSCX increased by 21 points to 11 thousand 240 points and CSE30 index decreased by 10 points to 13 thousand 395 points. Shares and units of 220 companies were traded on CSE. Among them, share and unit prices increased in 61 companies, decreased in 67 and remained unchanged in 92. At the end of the day, shares and units worth Tk 21 crore 94 lakh 69 thousand were traded in CSE.
