Three-day celebration of national poet Kazi Nazrul Islam’s 124th birth anniversary in Comilla

The 124th birth anniversary of National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam was celebrated in Comilla for three days. Member of Parliament of Comilla Sadar Constituency and President of Comilla Mahanagar Awami League Haji AKM Baha Uddin Bahar, Comilla District Commissioner Md Shamim Alam, Additional Superintendent of Police Afzal Hossain paid tribute in front of Comilla Shilpakala Academy at 10 am on Thursday, May 25. Students of various educational institutions including Shilpakala Academy Nazrul Parishad Cultural Complex Nazrul Institute Center, Comilla Cultural Association participated in a colorful rally on behalf of Comilla Cultural Association. All the organizations and representatives of the Comilla Cultural Alliance participated in the colorful rally. Former president Ed. Shahidul Haque Swapan, Anisur Rahman, former general secretary Khairul Anam Raihan, Zahidur Rahman Mamun, Professor Masud Majumder, Delwar Hossain Zakir, Abu Naser Miyaji Babu, Shahadat Hossain and the current committee vice president Abul Hasnat Azad general secretary and others. Also Adhuna Theatre, Yatrik Natyakluna, Victoria College Theatre, Comilla College Theater Abhay Charan Nityangan, Khelaghar Asar Comilla Surya Shikha, Alok Yuva, Garden Theater Comilla, Nityam Lalit Kala, Shaneet Ucharan, Sejuti Parishad, Sabuj Bengali Theatre, Kumla Theater, Comilla Natya Dal , smart theater community etc. Later, the three-day program was inaugurated on the occasion of the birth anniversary by blowing balloons.
