Jamalpur, Wednesday:
Religion Minister Md. Faridul Haque Khan said, “We are working to ensure that the pilgrims of this country can perform Hajj at a reasonable cost.” We are also working on how to simplify all the official processes starting from registration of pilgrims, how to give more comfort to pilgrims. There will be many positive changes in the next year’s Hajj management.
The Minister said this while addressing the Chief Guest at the Hajj Training Workshop 2024 at the District Model Mosque and Islamic Cultural Center in Jamalpur this morning.
The Minister of Religion said that despite the increase in the price of the dollar against the rupee, the cost of the general Hajj package has been reduced this year compared to last year. The government is determined to provide the best services to pilgrims. In this regard, we ask for your prayers and support.
Highlighting the importance of pilgrim training, the Minister of Religion said,
Training is the main tool for success and excellence in every field of life. Today’s training is mainly for you to perform Hajj fast properly. If you can pay attention to the training, then you will be able to master the rules of Hajj, rules and rituals, inshallah.
Addressing the pilgrims, the religious minister said that they should create cordial and warm relations with all of their groups. Keep group guide and mobile number of each member in collection. Take only necessary clothes and other materials with you. Do not carry any prohibited items. Do not defect in any way. There must be a sense of moderation in the intake of food and drink. Must maintain order in everything, behave responsibly. He advises to inform the members of the administrative team if they have any complaints or suggestions regarding Hajj management or any other issues.
