The tearful farewell of Suniti Rani Biswas, the head teacher who spread light in Ajopara village

Suniti Rani Biswas, the teacher who spread light in Ajopara Gaon, bid farewell in tears. On the last day of his long working life, he was showered with love from colleagues, students and local residents.

On the occasion of his farewell yesterday, a colorful welcome ceremony was organized at Noapara Government Primary School No. 86 of Comilla’s Barura Upazila. Although the program was supposed to start at 2 pm, the current and former students gathered in the school premises from early morning to bid their last farewell to their dear teacher. Teachers from various primary schools also appeared with flowers and gifts.

Under the chairmanship of Board of Directors President Amrit Das, Barura Upazila Education Officer was the chief guest. Tariqul Islam Upazila Assistant Education Officer was the special guest. Soleman Bhunya, Md. Mizanur Rahman Majumdar, Abdul Quddus Pradhan, Md. Tofazzal Hossain, former PTI instructor Uttam Das Gupta, Central Primary Teachers Association leader Shahadat Hossain Bhuna, Upazila Primary Teachers Association leader Abdul Haque, prominent social worker Abdur Razzak of Daburia and others.

Noapara Government Primary School Senior Teacher Motacham Billah delivered the welcome speech and Jharna Rani Das, Assistant Teacher of the institution read the farewell certificate. Former student Abdur Razzak, member secretary of the celebration committee expressed his thanks. Principal of Perul Government Primary School Shuvendu Shekhar Das Pintu and assistant teacher of Laxmipur Government Primary School Saiful Islam Hazari conducted the program at the beginning of the program after Quran recitation by Md Fakhruddin, Principal of Nalua Chandpur Government Primary School and Gita reading and National Anthem by Babli Majumdar, assistant teacher of Noapara Primary School. Suniti Rani Biswas’ illustrious career was projected through the LED screen. This is the beginning of his tireless struggle. It also includes footage of his multi-faceted strategy to bring the young children of a backward community to school. The images of special reports of various newspapers and magazines about him are also presented.

On the occasion of her farewell ceremony, Comilla-8 Constituency MP A ZM Shamim, Barura Upazila Parishad Chairman ANM Mainul Islam and Upazila Executive Officer Nung Mong Marma Mong gave separate messages. They praised the efforts of this noble woman in promoting education. The guests thanked the exceptional organizers of an educational institution in a remote area. In response, Suniti Rani Biswas’s long-time colleagues and local residents said – As the school is far from the upazila headquarters, different people were sent as the head of the institution as a form of punishment. That is why they were so sincere to the institution. no As the head of the institution, he has made extensive improvements in the infrastructure of the institution with the help of the higher authorities. Since he joined the institution, many brilliant students have returned to class. Parents are aware of their children’s education. Therefore, many people cried while saying goodbye to this craftsman of making people. The head teacher was emotional after receiving the farewell honor.
Head teachers, assistant teachers, parents and dignitaries of various primary schools of Laxmipur Union, Sudra Cluster and Barura Upazila were also present in it. UP member Md expressed his feelings on behalf of former students. Amir Hossain and Bank Officer Tapas Chandra Das, Jahangir Member on behalf of the Management Committee etc.

Note that Suniti Rani Biswas joined the great profession of teaching in 1986. During this time, he taught as an assistant teacher in several institutions. Joined Chitoshi Road Government Primary School as head teacher in 2007. And lastly in 2008 he came to Noapara Government Primary School near his village Chadda. He retired after serving as the head teacher for 16 years. Before this, her teacher husband Nikhil Dewanji died in 2000, but she survived in this profession despite many ups and downs. Not only that, he established his three children as teachers.
