He said this while speaking as the chief guest at the communal harmony meeting organized by Gajria upazila administration of Munshiganj district with brave freedom fighters, government officials, public representatives, journalists and politicians. Under the chairmanship of Upazila Executive Officer Md. Abdullah Al Mahfuz, chief negotiator Munshiganj District Police Superintendent Mohammad Afzal Khan, Ghazaria Upazila Chairman Md. Amirul Islam, Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Sumaiya Yakub, Upazila Animal Resources Officer, Upazila Vice Chairman Ataur Rahman were present among others. Neki, Zilla Parishad member Saidur Rahman Khan, chairman of various unions, journalists of print and electronic media, Alem Ulama Mashaikh and leaders of Hindu Buddhist Christian Unity Parishad were present. Chief negotiator Munshiganj District Superintendent of Police Mohammad Afzal Khan said that the big religious festival of the Hindu community is ahead and the national elections will be held a few months later, so he called on everyone to be vigilant so that no communal evil forces create chaos. He called for refraining from any kind of terrorist activity in the name of politics or else it will be strongly resisted in the interest of the state. In the president’s speech, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Abdullah Al Mahfuz specifically requested everyone present to inform him of any problem with cooperation.
