Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Force National Purity Award has been received by Thakurgaon District Commandant Minhaj Arefin. He has received the honor of receiving the Best Purity Award of Rangpur Range in the financial year 2023-24. District Commandant Minhaj Arefin said while exchanging greetings with journalists at the Thakurgaon district office last Wednesday, the inspiration of the labor sacrifice in receiving the National Purity Award was the close observation work with the Ansar and Village Defense Forces at the district and upazila levels. This award will motivate all Ansars to be active. Joined this district on 31/07/22 as District Commandant of Ansar and Village Defense Forces. Before this, he started his first career at the headquarters of this force as an assistant director.
He passed the 34th BCS Ansar Cadre in 2016. After joining the district, he worked tirelessly to implement the sanitation action strategy plan under the scope of the annual performance contract. In accordance with the instructions from the headquarters of Ansar and Village Defense Forces, the overall supervision of the national parliament election, the security responsibility of the polling station in the upazila parishad election under the local government and the responsibility of security during the celebration of Durga Puja festival with all the members of Ansar and VDP in orderly and disciplined professionalism for the sake of achieving success. He received this honor as District Commandant of Rangpur Range
