Rajbari Pangsha police station Pangsha pilot high school assistant teacher Md. On April 30, Mizanur Rahman left for home on his personal motorcycle at Hossaindanga Bazar in the upazila at around 9:00 p.m. at his fertilizer shop. On the way, as the road was broken in front of Biswas’s house, when the motorcycle slowed down, approximately 8-10 robbers, who were already there, stopped his car with the intention of stealing money. Not getting money from him, the robbers got into an argument with Mizanur. At one point, the robbers got angry and shot him in the head with a firearm at close range and escaped. Immediately Mizanur fell to the ground. On hearing the sound of gunshots, people around came forward and saw Mizanur lying on the ground in a bloody state. On receiving the information, the night patrol police team of Pangsha police station went to the spot and started searching. Shahanara Begum, the wife of the deceased Mizanur filed a murder case in Pangsha police station. During the investigation, under the general direction of Rajbari District Superintendent of Police MM Shakiluzzaman, under the supervision of Pangsha Circle Assistant Superintendent of Police Suman Kumar Sahar, Officer-in-Charge Mohammad Masudur Rahman and SI Dipankar Kund, the accused involved in the murders were raided at various places – Shakibul Hasan (16), father- Kalam Sheikh, Akash Sarkar (19), Father: Anand Sarkar, Ramprasad Sarkar, Father: Indrajit Sarkar, Vijay Sarkar (18), Father-Deceased: Ajit Sarkar and Badal Sarkar (18), Father: Aurobindo Sarkar, Both Sang- Hatbangram, Thana- Pangsha, District- Rajbari district was arrested. Later, 1 domestic single-barreled gun and 2 fresh cartridges were recovered from them.

Following this, Rajbari Superintendent of Police MM Shakiluzzaman told a press conference on Friday morning, April 5, that all the arrested persons have admitted their involvement in the murder. The operation to arrest other accused involved in the incident and recover evidence is continuing. It is initially known that the murder happened mainly to steal Halkhata’s money. The police will complete the investigation of the case as soon as possible and submit the report to the learned court. Additional Superintendent of Police Md. Salauddin, Additional Superintendent of Police Rezaul Karim, Assistant Senior Superintendent of Police (Pangsha Circle) Suman Saha, DIO-1 Saidur Rahman, OC Pangsha Model Police Station Md. Masudur Rahman and local print and electronic media journalists were present in the press conference.
