TCB product sale program has been auspiciously inaugurated through the “Family Card” of subsidized price among the poor and low income people in Khatapara Mazar of Saptibari Union of Aditmari Upazila. Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Ullah inaugurated the sale of TCB products at Khatapara Shrine of Union on Wednesday (September 13) at 10 am.
Aditmari Upazila Executive Officer GR Sarwar, Project Implementation Officer Mofizul Islam, TCB Dealer Aminur Rahman, Ward No. 5 UP Member Mizanur Rahman, Ward No. 6 UP Member Hafizul Islam were also present.
Local dignitaries and beneficiaries and many others were present.
When asked about this, Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Ullah said that out of the 588 card holders of Saptibari Union, 456 union residents have purchased TCB products through their family cards today. Poor and low income card holders purchased 2 kg of soybean oil, 2 kg of lentils and 5 kg of rice at government prices.
