Technology is constantly being used in medicine. It has created immense possibilities. Using that, Bangladeshi youth Nagib Mahfuz Sunny has done an unprecedented job. He has created a new model of healthcare through data analytics and machine learning. Recently, this has brought him the ‘Global Recognition Award 2025’.
Sunny is working on analyzing and researching vast datasets. The new models being developed through this can help in making diagnosis, treatment planning, and monitoring patient condition more effective. From identifying early signs of disease to creating the right treatment plan for an individual, technology is making it possible to provide accurate and fast solutions at low cost.
Comilla’s son Sunny is currently working as a healthcare data analyst at the Children’s Clinic of Michigan in the United States. He recently joined the international organization IEEE as a senior member.
Sunny said on receiving the award, “Who is not happy with the achievement! It will increase the enthusiasm for work. This recognition is not only my personal achievement, but also the result of the hard work and commitment of my team. We are trying to improve medical research through data analytics and machine learning. If these are implemented, diagnosis, treatment planning and patient care will improve. I believe that the proper use of technology will make healthcare more accessible and effective for people.
