Sujon’s roundtable meeting in Comilla on political consensus and citizen’s thoughts on state reform

Comilla April 24, 2025 An important roundtable meeting was held at the Hotel Capsicum Auditorium in Comilla on Thursday, April 24 at 3 pm to receive citizen’s thoughts and opinions on state reform and political consensus formation.

The meeting, organized by the “Citizens for Good Governance (Sujon)” Comilla District and Metropolitan Committee, was presided over by District President Alhaj Shah Mohammad Alamgir Khan and moderated by General Secretary Professor Ali Ahsan Titu.

The main article was presented by Sujon’s central coordinator Dilip Kumar Sarkar. He said, “Sujon is exchanging views with representatives of civil society across the country to determine the steps that need to be taken for state reform. Keeping these two contexts in mind, the formation of a national consensus in the formation of the future state is the need of the hour.”

He further said that the information obtained based on citizen opinions across the country will be submitted to the consensus commission under the name ‘Citizen Thought’ and everyone’s cooperation is desirable in this effort.

The speakers at the meeting emphasized the need to quickly complete state reforms and organize a free and fair election and called for the establishment of the rule of law.
