Sharifa Begum Sheuli: The oath-taking ceremony and cultural program-24 of the 4th batch of students of the Diploma in Nursing Science and Midwifery and B.Sc. in Nursing Basic Course of the 2023-2024 session was held in Rangpur.
Sneha Nasing organized the event at the college campus hall on Monday (December 30) at around 11 am.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Md. Abdul Mannan was present as the chief guest at the event, while Deputy Director of the Narcotics Control Department District Office Biplob Kumar Modak, Principal of Rangpur Nursing College Sufia Begum, invited guests Asian Television and Rangpur Bureau of Amar Desh newspaper Badsha Osmani, Rangpur District Correspondent of Manabkantha newspaper Mohiuddin Mukhdumi, teachers, students, and journalists from electronic and print media were present as special guests.
The speakers said that people’s lives depend on these nurses. If they work responsibly, people will recover and if they work carelessly, people’s lives can be lost. At the same time, those who have taken the oath must study with merit. If they want to be responsible nurses in the future, they must pay attention to that.
