Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami supported labor organization Bangladesh Sramik Kalyan Federation organized a general meeting of Shikdar Mallik Union branch of Pirojpur Sadar Upazila.
Al Amin, president of Pirojpur Sadar Upazila of Sramik Kalyan Federation, was present as the chief guest in the general meeting held at the organization’s temporary office at Ward No. 5 Chhotjujkhola of Shikdar Mallik Union on Tuesday (December 10).
Mizanur Rahman, Joint General Secretary Alamgir Hossain, Organizing Secretary Md. Salim Hossain were present as special guests.
Jamaat Islami Youth Division Sadar Upazila Branch President Zakaria Ahmed Master, Professional Council Shikdar Mallik Union Branch President Maulana Khalilur Rahman, Jamaat Youth Division Shikdar Mallik Union Branch President Ariful Islam and others were present as guests.
The leaders present at the meeting gave action plans and directions to strengthen and accelerate the organizational activities of the Labor Welfare Federation in Shikdar Union.
In that meeting, a full committee of Shikdar Mallik Union branch was announced by appointing Md. Salim Hossain as the President, Md. Mannan Sheikh as the General Secretary and Abul Hasan as the Organizing Secretary to manage the organizational activities of Sramik Kalyan Federation.
Labor members of different levels of Shikder Mallik Union’s various ward levels of Labor Welfare Federation participated spontaneously.
