Even though the madrasa has been abolished, the committee is still in force, the case has been fighting to get the land of the madrasa for a long time.
For a long time, the Atong Forkaniya madrasa in the village of Dakshin Atong of Ward No. 6 of Shariatpur Municipality disappeared for a long time. A man named Abdul Malek Bepari does not want to give the crop of his donated 40 and a half century land to the madrasa because of its extinction. However, Abdul Malek Bepari and his son have complained that the committee has stepped up to take the land by force. In this incident, there is tension in Atong area. However, no institution called Atong Forkaniya Madrasah was found on the ground.
Victim Abdul Malek Bepari and his son Delwar Hossain Bepari said that in 1976, Malek Bepari decided to give about 40 percent of the crops to the local Atang Forkaniya Madrasa. Another agreement was made that as long as this madrasa exists, the crops of that land will be given to the madrasa. However, the incidental cost of the land will be borne by the owner of the land and if there is no madrasa, the crops and the land will revert to him. But after a few years, the madrasa stopped functioning. Therefore, Malek Bepari does not want to give the crops of his donated land anymore. But a bogus committee of defunct madrasa wants to forcefully harvest the land. And a person named Amir Hossain Kothari identified himself as the general secretary of that madrasa and filed a case
It has been going on for about 14 years, now it is a judgment in favor of the owner-dealer.
This incident has created tension between the two sides in that area. However, in Sarojmin, it is seen that there is no madrasa called Atang Forkaniya Madrasah.
In this regard, the victim Abdul Malek Bepari said, when the madrasa was there, we gave the crop of the land as per the agreement. As the madrasa is not functioning as per the agreement, I filed a case in court for the return of the land. I got a degree in litigation. So I will not give my land and crops. A person named Amir Hossain Kotari formed a committee and now they want to take away the entire land, not the crop. They filed a case in court. In this regard, I wish justice to the concerned authorities.
On the other hand, General Secretary of Madrasa Committee Amir Hossain Kotari said that although the activities of the Madrasa were closed, the Madrasa Committee was there after the death of the General Secretary of the Madrasa Committee in the year 12. The activities are closed. At present, the situation in the country is not good. If the situation in the country is good, we will start the madrasa again. However, when asked about the president of the madrasa, he said that the president died a long time ago and no new committee was formed.
