Entertainment Desk: Dhallywood Queen Shabnur. After a long break, she returned to acting last year. She played a dual role in the movie ‘Rangana’. However, the work on the movie is not finished. Director Arafat Hossain said that more than half of the shooting of the movie has been completed.
The shooting of ‘Rangana’ began in April last year. Shooting took place in various locations in Old Dhaka, Pubail, Tongi, Uttara and Dhaka. After finishing the shooting of the movie in May, Shabnur went to Sydney again. More than nine months have passed since then.
The shooting of the remaining parts of ‘Rangana’ was supposed to start from August 8. Due to the ongoing situation in the country, the actress could not return to the country at that time. Then, director Arafat also said that the second phase of shooting of ‘Rangana’ would start in December. That did not happen either. Shabnur did not come to the country.
There are rumors that Shabnur is not giving a new schedule due to the honor. However, the director dismissed the rumors. He said in an annoyed tone about the matter, “Some people are trying to say that Rangana’s shooting is no longer happening. This is completely unrealistic. I don’t know why many people are behaving negatively about our movie. They are spreading nonsense comments on social media. They are giving wrong information. I have only one request to everyone, don’t listen to rumors. We will definitely shoot according to the new plan.”

When asked when the shooting will take place again, the director said that it is uncertain. Arafat said, “The shooting will take place when Shabnur Apa comes to the country. However, I don’t want to reveal that time right now. Because if the shooting schedule is revealed, the conspiracy will start again.”

Apart from Shabnur, Kazi Hayat, Fazlur Rahman Babu, Monira Mithu, Mili Bashar and many others have played different roles in the movie ‘Rangana’.
