Mohammad Sharifuzzaman (Special Correspondent): Savar National Memorial is ready to be suffused with respect and love. As the morning sun rises on December 16, President Shahabuddin, chief adviser Dr. Yunus, member of the advisory council, dean of the Kutnatik Corps, will pay tribute to the unknown lakhs of martyrs at Savar National Memorial. At this time, the President and the Chief Advisor will be given a guard of honor of the three forces. The memorial will be opened to the public after the President and Chief Adviser pay their respects. Later BNP chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia, general secretary Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and leaders of various political and variour social organizations will pay their respects there.
Going to the National Memorial premises, it can be seen that the memorial premises have been decorated with wild flowers. The entire area has been washed and cleaned and under four stage security management. The red brick is spreading whiteness with a touch of white. Wild flowers are adorning red tubs at different places. Red beetroot has been newly planted in the lake water. Meanwhile, the memorial has been closed to visitors.
Besides, the roads of the memorial area have been decorated with colorful lights. At the same time, to strengthen the security system, CCTV has been brought in all around. Highways have also been cleared. Meanwhile, on the occasion of the Great Victory Day, hundreds of cleaners have been working for two weeks to clean and decorate the minaret of memory. Small gardens are beautifully decorated with red and green flowers. There are scratches on the stairs and various structures in the square.
A man named Abdul Mateen is taking care of flowers and planting trees. He said that in view of the Great Victory Day, various species of trees including flowering trees are being planted to beautify the memorial at various places. He likes working here. Because on the day of Victory Day millions of people will come here to pay their respects with flowers. And there he is working. He also said that he felt a different feeling.
A person named Naeem took the flower saplings from one place to another inside the monument area in a rickshaw. He said, on the occasion of December 16, various species of saplings including new flowers are being planted. This will increase the beauty of the monument.
While expressing his feelings, Naeem said that he has a different feeling to work here. I like it very much. He likes to think about when millions of people will come here to pay their respects with flowers.
GM Anwarul Islam completes the hand writing of the National Memorial area. We Talk to him, He said that since 1981, he has been regularly doing all the handwriting work in the memorial. Every year on 16th December, 26th March including Samanta days, he regularly does hand writing at the memorial. This time he has been writing since December 1st. He has been writing here for 42 years because of the pleasure of his heart, despite family restrictions.

He said that on December 16, His Excellency the President, Chief Advisor, Advisory Council and foreign diplomats will lay wreaths in honor of the brave martyrs at the Janata Sabha National Memorial. To that end, the Public Works Department is carrying out activities such as cleaning the memorial complex, decorating it with flowers, painting, installing CCTV cameras. The beautification of the National Memorial premises is being done for about one and a half months.
On Staurday Additional IGP of Police Mr. Akram Hossain, Dhaka Range DIG Mr. AKM Awlad Hossain and On Sunday Dhaka District Superintendent of Police Mr. Ahmed Mueed said extensive security measures have been taken at the memorial on the occasion of the Great Victory Day on December 16. At this time, he said, strict security measures have been taken around the memorial including Dhaka Aricha road. He also said that there is no sabotage or threat. That time others law enforce, govt officials, journalists and many others were present at this time.
On the other hand, on the occasion of the 54th anniversary of victory, the others all political parties and sociol cultural activists in Savar will be held.
