The month-long programs organized to mark the 1st anniversary celebration of Ruposhi Bangla College were inaugurated today. College Principal Md. Yasinur Rahman presided over the month-long programs of the 1st anniversary celebration, with Comilla Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board Secretary Professor Khondaker Mohammad Sadekur Rahman as the chief guest. Comilla Education Board Deputy Secretary (Administration) Masum Millat Majumder, Ruposhi Bangla Cooperative Society Ltd. President Professor Md. Iftekhar Alam Bhuiyan were present as special guests. Ruposhi Bangla College Advisor Principal Md. Moniruzzaman, Aftab Hossain Nilu, Ruposhi Bangla Cooperative Society Ltd. Vice-President Md. Fakhrul Islam, Secretary Md. Farhad Hossain Majumder, Treasurer Professor Mia Mu. Akshir. Also present were College Vice-Principal Mohammad Abdul Motaleb, Secretary of the Teachers’ Council Md. Manzil Hossain, In-charge of the Science Department Md. Abu Bakr Siddique, In-charge of the Humanities Department Dilshad Akhter Bhuiyan, In-charge of the Business Education Department Md. Anwar Hossain, Controller of Examinations Md. Kabir Uddin, Director of Ruposhi Bangla College Md. Shafiul Alam, Md. Abdus Samad, Md. Mizanur Rahman, Md. Tarekul Alam Bhuiyan, Professor Md. Noor Alam, Md. Zafar Ahmed,
Md. Abdur Rob, Dr. Md. Bashir Uddin, Md. Sajjad Hossain, Md. Abu Yusuf along with other directors and teachers.
The chief guest said in his speech, “I am happy to participate in the 1st anniversary celebration with the students of Ruposhi Bangla College. I hope that Ruposhi Bangla College will continue its continuous efforts to provide quality education and achieve good results. It will not only achieve good results but also develop students as skilled human resources and human beings to build a corruption-free and discrimination-free Bangladesh. I am announcing the auspicious inauguration of the program with the hope that the month-long beautiful arrangements on the occasion of the 1st anniversary will be successful and fruitful.
After the inauguration of the chief guest, a colorful rally was held with more than seven hundred students, teachers, alumni, directors and well-wishers. Later, after the remembrance of the alumni, the cake of the 1st anniversary celebration was cut and the first day of the program ended with a luncheon.
