The Board of Directors of Biman Bangladesh Airlines has been restructured. On Wednesday (August 28), the Civil Aviation and Tourism Ministry announced the reorganization of the Biman Board.

Under the leadership of Abdul Mueed Chowdhury, a former adviser to the caretaker government, the 13-member board includes the secretary of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, the secretary of the finance department, the secretary of the finance ministry, the chairman of the National Board of Revenue, the secretary of the chief adviser’s office, the chairman of the Civil Aviation Authority, the Bangladesh Army’s Chief of Engineering, International Chamber of Commerce Bangladesh President Mahbubur Rahman, Association of Bankers Bangladesh Limited Chairman, former director of Biman Lt. Colonel (retd) Engineer Shahriar Ahmed Chowdhury, ICAB Council Member Noor-e-Khoda Abdul Mobin, Managing Director and CEO of Emerging Credit Rating Limited Ali Ashfaq, and Managing Director and CEO of Biman Bangladesh Airlines Limited.
