In the reception held under the chairmanship of Sylhet City Corporation Mayor Anwaruzzaman Chowdhury, the Minister of Planning also said that before Sheikh Hasina, there were no 80 thousand villages in the development plan of the country. He was the first to implement it. One of his projects is village will be city. For the first time in this region, Sheikh Hasina has delivered electricity to villages. He provides free treatment and medicine through community clinic for the health care of the poor people of the village. With his inspiration, I have been able to build Science and Technology University, 500-bed Hospital, Textile University in Howre, Sunamganj. We are making flyover road from Biswambharpur to Netrakona at a cost of Tk 4000 crore. Arrangements have been made to go to Dhaka by car from lower areas like Shalla throughout the year.
