 Badarganj Upazila, Badarganj Upazila, Lohanipara Dakhil Madrasa Superintendent and an assistant teacher of the same institution, after 20 days after some pictures of intimate moments were leaked on social media Facebook, but no action was taken by the local people, human chain and broom march against the accused teachers.
On Wednesday (July 12, 23) around noon, a human chain started under the banner of parents and conscious residents of Lohanipara Mandalarhat market. Later, they started a broom procession with shoes hanging on the picture of the accused teacher. The human chainers announced to take major action if disciplinary action is not taken against the accused teachers soon.
A local named Golam Rabbani said, “If the head of an educational institution does such an immoral act, who will we trust to send children to madrasa? We do not want such a superintendent in a religious educational institution. We demand his immediate dismissal.“
Shaheen Alam, a former student of the madrasa said, “It is clear from the pictures that we have seen that the superintendent of the madrasa and the teacher have committed moral lapses. But for unknown reasons, no action is being taken against them. Such a dirty incident has never happened in the history of the madrasa. The two accused teachers should not teach again. Maybe it is our demand to the administration.
Earlier, on July 4, local residents and parents filed a written complaint with public signatures at the Upazila Executive Office demanding the punishment of the superintendent and assistant teacher.
It is known according to the complaint of local residents, Lohanipara Dakhil Madrasa Super Mao. Md. Azizur Rahman and the accused assistant teacher used to go to different hotels and motels and engage in immoral activities. Even after the local residents forbade them, they did not care. On June 18, after the assistant teacher posted a number of intimate photos of her with the super from her own Facebook ID, it went viral, causing a huge uproar in the entire area. At that time, when the local people took the initiative to surround the madrasa, the super and the assistant teacher were trapped from there. Later, they took a general holiday until Eid-ul-Azha.
Meanwhile, since the opening of the madrasa last Sunday (July 9), Super Azizur Rahman took his wife, daughter, brother and other people with him and entered the madrasa after signing the attendance register and left. Apart from this, Azizur Rahman came to the madrasa and left hurriedly after signing the attendance sheet, fearing the wrath of the locals.
