Rangpur in autorickshaw driver Mamun stands next to helpless people

On Sunday (December 17), students who got GP-5 were felicitated by distributing winter clothes among the people of Rangpur City Corporation Ward No. 17 Battala area. Md. Abdur Rahim, President of Rampura High School Committee and President of Ward No. 17 Volunteer League, was present as the chief guest in the event. Among others, Rangpur City Corporation reserved woman councilor Zaheda Anwari Lucky, engineer Radhanath Das, retired teacher Chaya Rani Das, social worker Alhaj Shahidul Islam Shaheed, retired agriculture officer Md. Abdur Rashid, social worker Jochna Begum, Meshtahun Nahar Iti, Satya Gopal Adhikari, businessman Sirajul Islam, mill-chattal businessman Masud Mia, businessman Rafikuzzaman Sumon, Samir Krishna Roy, Asaduzzaman Angur, Sohail Islam, Hafizul Islam. During the distribution of winter clothes, the speakers applauded Mamun for standing by the helpless and poor people. Autorickshaw driver Abdul Khalek’s (Mamun) father was a freedom fighter. But he could not manage the money for the burial when he died later due to lack of recognition. From that understanding today Mamun stands by the people. He has been handing out diaries to the students and has always been working in cases where someone does not have the funeral expenses.
