Yusuf Chowdhury-Rajshahi: The 590th meeting of the Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank (RAKB) Board of Directors was held at 11 am on Sunday (March 23) in the board room of the bank’s head office. The meeting was presided over by Professor Dr. Mohammad Ali, Chairman of the RAKB Board of Directors. The meeting was attended by the bank’s Managing Director Wahida Begum and the directors of the Board of Directors, Divisional Commissioner of Rangpur Division Md. Shahidul Islam, ndc; Divisional Commissioner of Rajshahi Division Khondaker Azim Ahmed ndc; Deputy Director of Fisheries Department Rajshahi Division Md. Abdul Wahed Mondal; Director of Livestock Department Rangpur Division Dr. Md. Abdul Hai Sarkar; Additional Director of Agriculture Extension Department, Rajshahi Dr. Md. Azizur Rahman and Additional Director of Agriculture Extension Department, Rangpur Md. Shafiqul Islam. At the beginning of the meeting, the Managing Director of the bank, Wahida Begum, was welcomed with floral greetings by the board of directors for joining the meeting for the first time, and at the end of the meeting, the Board of Directors of Rakab extended floral greetings to Deputy Director of the Department of Fisheries, Rajshahi Division, Md. Abdul Wahed Mondal, on the occasion of his retirement. After discussing the overall activities of the bank, several important decisions were taken on business and administrative matters.
