Mahabub Morshed Sohel, a teacher of the same school, held a press conference to get rid of Zahidul Islam and his son, headmaster of Rajapur Model Pilot High School in Rajapur Upazila of Jhalkathi. He held a press conference at Rajapur Press Club at 3 pm on Sunday. Mahabub Morshed Sohel is the son of Md. Hemayet Uddin Khan of Rajapur Sadar. On the other hand, at 5:30 pm on Sunday, the headmaster of the school, Md. Zahidul Islam, held a counter press conference to protest the press conference of Mahabub Morshed Sohel.
In a written speech at the press conference, Mahabub Morshed Sohail said, Rajapur Model Pilot High School headmaster Zahidul Islam appointed an assistant headmaster in our school by accepting a bribe of Tk 15 lakh in the month of February 2024. Since 2015, up to 17 teachers have been employed and have done business of about one and a half crore rupees. Moreover, he is embezzling a lot of money from the school and government treasury. If I protested about these issues, I got upset with Zahidul Islam. Later, on August 24, Rajapur Upazila BNP General Secretary Md. Nasim Uddin Akan, sat in the school’s teacher’s auditorium and resolved the issue. After that, the head teacher Zahidul Islam terrorist Bahini and his son Adib, brother’s son Abhi, younger brother Indrapasha an assistant teacher of Government Primary School Miron took a team at 10:30 in the morning and said that they will kill me, my father, brother and son and daughter with native weapons. Marched with threats. At that time, my daughter and wife, the son of the head teacher Zahidul Islam, Abid and my brother’s son, including me, disappeared and threatened to kill my family. Currently I am running away from fear of Zahidul Islam and his son. In this incident, teacher Mahabub Morshed Sohel wished the concerned authorities to take good care of the prosecution.
On the other hand, Zahidul Islam said in a written speech at the press conference, I saw on Facebook Live today afternoon that Mahabub Morshed Sohel is holding a press conference making various allegations against me which are completely false and baseless. Basically, after the fall of the government, the change in Sohail’s behavior has been seen. He has been misbehaving and threatening me and my colleagues. The allegations made by Sohail against my son, younger brother and brother’s son are completely false and baseless.
