A college student named Asif Rahman Lyon was hacked to death by opponents due to land dispute and previous enmity in Rajapur of Jhalkathi. Lyon died in the emergency department of Dhaka Medical at around 3 am on Friday morning. He brought his body home late last night and performed the funeral. Last 27 (June) Thursday around 4:30 pm of Galua Union of Upazila This incident took place in Katakhali market of Kanudashkathi area. Lyon is the son of Shah Alam, Headmaster of Madhya Charail Secondary School, a resident of Katakhali Bazar and an honors 4th year student of Khulna BL College. The victim’s father Shah Alam and brother Anik Rahman complained, “According to the previous plan, due to land and eastern disputes, the opponent Alam Sikdar’s son Sajib, Hasan, Likhan, Chayan, Rajib attacked the college student Leon and his elder brother Anik with native weapons and batons. , Rahman Kazi’s son Dulal Kazi, Dulal’s Shakeel Sajjal, Hakim’s son Enayet, Firoz’s son Ashiq, Dulal Kazi’s son Sayem, Rob Bor’s son Anwar Kazi, Serazuddin’s son Shamsu Kazi including 15/20 people. Suddenly, the native cut him on the head and the right side of the abdomen with a sharp weapon, seriously injuring him. He was rescued and treated in Rajapur, Barisal and taken to Dhaka Medical in a comatose condition, where the emergency department doctors declared him dead.
