08 companies were fined Tk 30 lakh in the RAB mobile court for producing, storing and selling adulterated cosmetics, baby food, unauthorized cables, pipes and LPG gas in Banshal and Keraniganj areas of capital Dhaka; Imprisonment of 01 person for 03 months without work.
Since its inception, RAB has been playing a leading role in arresting all types of criminals and bringing them under the law to maintain the overall law and order situation of the country. Apart from this, prevention of fraud and fraud is an important and ongoing operation of RAB. This operation of RAB has been appreciated in all quarters of the country.
In continuation of this, from yesterday 10th June 2024 A.D. 10:00 AM to today 11th June 2024 A.D. 01:30 A.D. Executive Magistrate Mr. Md. Mazharul Islam and RAB-10, a raiding team is traveling in Banshal and Keraniganj areas of the capital Dhaka. The court completed the proceedings. At that time, in the presence of the representative of BSTI, the mobile court fined a total of Rs. John was sentenced to 03 months without labor. Of which 1 Rs.4,00,000/- (Four Lakhs) in cash to Satellite LPG Plant, 2. H.R. Cash-Tk.3,00,000/- (Three Lakhs) to Polymer Industries, 3. 5,00,000/- (Five Lakhs) in cash to Nania Cable Limited, 4. Cash-Tk.3,00,000/- (Three Lakhs) to Kabid Electro Ventures, 5. 3,00,000/- (Three Lakhs) in cash to Mizuki House Hold Products, 6. Rs.5,00,000/- (Five Lakhs) in cash to Mrs. Walter & Monarch Corporation, 7. 5,00,000/- (Five Lakhs) in cash to Power Engineering Ketnology and 8. Kader paid a fine of Rs.2,00,000/- (two lakhs) in cash to Agro Food & Beverage. Besides, several electric cables were seized and destroyed on the orders of the executive magistrate of the said mobile court.
Preliminary investigations revealed that these unscrupulous traders had been manufacturing, stocking and marketing adulterated cosmetics, baby food, unauthorized cables, pipes and LPG gas for quite some time.
