RAB rescues two much-discussed missing sisters

Office Desk: RAB has rescued two sisters, Adrita Binte Mahfuz (17) and Abza Jahan (11), who were missing in the much-discussed Kadamtali area of ​​the capital, from the Dashmina area of ​​Patuakhali district.
On 14/12/2024, at approximately 14:26 pm, the two daughters of Md. Mahfuz Sikder, 1. Adrita Binte Mahfuz (17) and 2. Abza Jahan (11), living in the Kadamtali area of ​​the capital, went missing. The two victim sisters left their house in the Japanese Market under the Kadamtali police station in the capital and went to give their grandmother and aunt a ride. Later, they did not return home. After that, the father of the two victims, Mahfuz, could not find them in all possible places and filed a missing person’s report at the Kadamtali police station in the capital. GD No. 1016, date 14/12/24.

The incident of the missing sisters created a huge sensation in various electronic and print media. Upon learning of the matter, an expeditionary team of RAB-10 started intelligence surveillance with the aim of rescuing the two missing sisters.

In continuation of this, the said operation team of RAB-10 conducted an operation in the Sabujbag area under Dashmina police station of Patuakhali district at approximately 13:00 pm on 17/12/2024 based on secret information and with the help of information technology and in collaboration with RAB-8 and rescued the two missing victims, two sisters 1. Adrita Binte Mahfuz (17) and 2. Abza Jahan (11), both fathers – Md. Mahfuz Sikder, Sang-Japani Bazar, Police Station – Kadamtali, Dhaka.

Further legal proceedings for the two rescued missing victims are under process.
