RAB-10 arrested 02 people with fake certificates and fake certificate making equipment from Newmarket area of ​​the capital.

Since its inception, RAB has achieved enviable success in maintaining internal law and order as an elite force in anti-militant and anti-narcotics activities, recovering illegal weapons and arresting armed terrorists, kidnappers, robbers, extortionists, fraudsters who make fake money and fake certificates.  In continuation of this yesterday, on 10th July 2024 at approximately 16:25 in the afternoon, a raiding team of RAB-10 conducted an operation in the Bakushah Market area under the New Market police station of the capital Dhaka to find fake certificates of secondary and higher secondary education boards, fake certificates of various public and private universities and fake certificates. 02 members of driving license manufacturing gang arrested. Name of arrested persons 1. Md. Rakib Hasan (25), father-deceased Dalal Mridha, Sang-Babupura, Thana-Newmarket, Dhaka, 2. Known as Shah Alam Miji (39), Father- Abdul Haque Miji, Sang- Rampur, Thana- Chadpur Sadar, District- Chandpur. 01 CPU, 01 monitor, 01 keyboard, 02 sound box, 01 printer, 01 mobile phone, 01 education certificate, 01 mark sheet, 01 mouse, 01 pen drive and 01 multiplug were recovered from them.

The preliminary investigation revealed that the arrested persons had been producing fake certificates and fake driving licenses of SSC, HSC, Dakhil, Alim and Honors and Masters of various public and private universities for quite some time. They were carrying out fraudulent activities under the guise of business by creating various fake certificates in exchange of money.

A regular case has been registered against the arrested person in the concerned police station.
