Professor Dr. Safiur Rahman received the Dr. Wazed Miah International Gold Medal Award

Dr. MA Wazed Mia received the 11th International Gold Medal Award from Chapainawabganj, Chief Scientific Officer of Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission, Professor Dr. Safiur Rahman. Notably, he received the “Best Scientist Award” from the Atomic Energy Center, Dhaka, Bangladesh in 2022. He is the author of 8 books on science. He has published more than 150 scientific articles in various national and international journals. Last year, he was among the top 2% scientists in the world in 2022. Prominent scientist Prof. Dr. Md. Safiur Rahman, who was included in the list of researchers, was awarded the Best Scientist Gold Medal for his special contribution to environmental science research. Last Tuesday, the 14th death anniversary and 11th International Gold Medal Award 2021 ceremony of Dr. MA Wazed Mia was organized at the National Press Club. Dr. MA Wazed Mia Memorial Foundation Founder and Central President A. K. M. Farhadul Kabir presided over the event. Liberation War Affairs Minister A. K. M. Mozammel Haque MP was present as the chief guest. Bangladesh A was the special guest.  Presidium Member of League Dr. Mustafa Jalal Mohiuddin, Office Secretary of A. League Barrister Biplab Barua, Chairperson of West Bengal Commission for Women Leena Ganguly, 8 nationals from Bangladesh, Canada, America, Japan and India who have achieved excellence and made important contributions in various fields in the event. Awarded to foreign distinguished meritorious persons.
