President Mohsahabuddin has come to Cox’s Bazar on a two-day visit. He reached Cox’s Bazar Airport by helicopter from Bandarban’s Nilgiris on Sunday (July 30) at noon. There are 30 people including his family members as traveling companions. The tour schedule signed by the Protocol Officer of the President’s Office, Md. Nabirul Islam, states that President Md. Sahabuddin left the Nilgiris for Cox’s Bazar by helicopter at a quarter past 11 on Sunday and reached Cox’s Bazar at around 11:30 a.m. from Cox’s Bazar Airport. He was given a guard of honor on reaching the circuit house. He then stayed at the star hotel Jaltaranga Resort in Sagarpar. On the same day, he is scheduled to visit the sea at Labani Point on the beach from 4 pm to 6 pm. Will participate in cultural program at Jaltaranga Resort at 8 pm. He will spend the night there. He will visit Daryanagar beach at 10 am on July 31. The schedule mentions that President Sahabuddin will leave for Dhaka at 5 pm on the same day. Earlier on July 29 at 11 am, the President left Tejgaon Helipad for Bandarban Nilgiris by helicopter. He reached the Nilgiris at 12:35 PM and rested at Akashneela Resort and observed the natural beauty and sunset at 4 PM. On the same day at 7:15 PM, President Mohd Sahabuddin participated in the cultural program and flew the lantern there at 8:15 PM. On Sunday morning, he planted a tree there and left for Cox’s Bazar.
