A preparatory meeting was held to celebrate the 75th founding anniversary of Awami League in Barura, Comilla.

On Friday 21st June under the guidance of Member of Parliament of Comilla 8 Barura Constituency Abu Zafar Mohammad Shafiuddin (Shamim) in Adda of Barura Upazila, the newly elected chairman of Barura Upazila Parishad, Md Hamid, was present as a guest in the preparation meeting chaired by ex-mayor of Barura Municipality Comilla South District Awami League ex-member Bahaduruzzaman Bahadur. Latif Bhuiyan (Kamal), elected Vice Chairman of Barura Upazila Parishad Md. Farhad Hossain, Vice President of Barura Upazila Awami League and former Chairman of Shilmuri North Union Alhaj Md. Abu Ishaq, Joint General Secretary Lion Rabiul Alam, Organizing Secretary and Chairman of Adda Union Parishad Zakir Hossain Badal , Adra Union Parishad Chairman Rakibul Hasan Limon, Payalgacha Union Chairman Syed Mahin Uddin, Chitda Union Chairman Md Zakaria, Barura Municipality Awami League senior leader Mobarak Hossain Mir (former Chairman).

On the occasion of the 75th founding anniversary of Bangladesh Awami League on June 23, at 9:30 in the morning, the party leaders and activists will take out a procession and participate in the discussion meeting at the Upazila Parishad auditorium.

Comilla South District Awami League Vice President Comilla 8 Barura Constituency Member of Parliament Abu Jafar Mohammad Shafiuddin Shamim will attend the discussion meeting as the chief guest. Md. Hamid Latif Bhuiyan (Kamal), the elected chairman of Garura Upazila Parishad will be present as a special guest, along with leaders and activists of Awami League’s organs and allied organizations.
