Mamun Hossain Charfassion (Bhola) Correspondent : Milad and prayer prayers were held on the occasion of the third death anniversary of Begum Rawshan Ara Panchayat, wife of veteran educationist late Salahuddin Ahmad and mother of poet and journalist Shahabuddin Ripon Shaan, in Lalmohan, Bhola.
On Wednesday (October 2) at Dakshin Dhaligaurnagar Chatla Bazar Central Jame Masjid of Johorbad Upazila, social justice and human rights organization “Shaan Foundation” organized a doa mahfil and worshipers in honor of Begum Rawshan Ara Panchayat, the beloved mother is of Journalist Shahabuddin Lecturer Ripon Shaan.
At this time, Imam Maulana Mohammad Ibrahim led the prayers at Chatla Bazar Central Jame Masjid.
After praying, a preeti lunch was held at Doa Mishti Ghar and Hotel, Chatla Bazar Maa.
Mention, the late Begum Roshan Ara is the consort of legendary freedom fighter educationist Salahuddin Ahmad Miar of Panchayat Ekater and she is the last panchayat chief of Lalmohan district and the historical popular former chairman of undivided Lalmohan Union Parishad late Mujibur Rahman Panchayat Adar’s younger daughter. In personal life he was very pious, charitable and kind like his father.
