In the Dakshin Kalankals Bridge Bazar area of ​​Ward No. 6 of Kalagachhia Union, Galachipa Upazila of Patuakhali, it is reported that a house was built in a terrorist manner by forcibly occupying the ancestral property purchased by Maulana Md. Abdur Rob Khan 50 years ago at night.
The incident took place before the night of April 5. Shahid Chowdhury, Alam Chowdhury, Anwar Chowdhury, son of the deceased Md. Abdur Chowdhury, and Md. Mokchedul Howlader, son of Yusuf Howlader, daughter Yasmin and her husband Md. Shahid Master, of the same area, were killed. At that time, some fruits and forest grass on the land were cut, but Yasmin cut the trees. When Maulana Abdur Rob Khan’s cousin Mokchedul Khan tried to stop him when he was attacked by terrorists, he was saved with the cooperation of the locals and the video footage recorded on his mobile phone was deleted, the locals said. The victim’s family filed a complaint at the Kalagachhia police station to ensure fair justice and maintain law and order. In this regard, the father of the accused Yasmin, Md. Yusuf Howlader, said that they purchased 14 acres of land on the same spot through a contract. They said they went to that land to build a house on his demand.
Regarding this incident, Galachipa Police Station OC Md. Asadur Rahman said that necessary measures will be taken after investigating the above incident.
